Commercial Pilot

This certification is a requirement you’ll need to fly people or property for compensation or hire or to pursue a career in the aviation industry.

Eligibility: Be at least 18 years old and be able to read, speak, write and understand the English language. 14 CFR 61.123 (a) & (b)

Prerequisite: Typically an FAA Private Pilot Helicopter License plus 150 hours of total flight time and at least 1) 100 hours in powered aircraft, of which 50 hours must be in helicopters, 2) 100 hours of pilot-in-command flight time 3) 20 hours of training in the areas of operations listed in 14 CFR 61.127 (b).
